The SoccerSixes.Org Easter Tournament took place at the Civil Service Club in Dundonald.   Over 100 children, coaches & parents had a very entertaining evening!

The tournament this year attracted teams from across Belfast & North Down area.  A new addition to the tournament allowed more children to get involved.

We had open teams that allowed children to simply turn up & pay as you go.  £5 per child offered a team, 2 hours of football along with a medal at the end of it.  This proved a massive hit filling 2 teams with children who had never played together.  With a mix of abilities it was great to see them work together as a team.

One child commented, 'This is the first team I have ever played for & I am so excited!'  This was a great new benefit to the tournament as it stops only the select amount of kids that are picked for a team to all children being able to play.

The format allowed the tournament to run smoothly - even with an uneven amount of teams.  With a number of pitches set up it always allowed the resting team an opportunity to play or train on the free pitch.

Every child that took part received a medal along with having loads of fun.  The tournament was played in terrific spirit that brought everyone together through football.
